Hello, I'm Sanyi! I'm here to deliver Indian gastronomy straight to your dining table!
I have worked at many fantastic restaurants including Gordon Ramsey’s, Hotel Hilton, Hotel Intercontinental, Tragus Group, and the Kwality at Conaught Place (a prestigious restaurant in New Delhi), which has over 60 restaurant in India and middle-East, Japan, USA and the UK. Having lived and worked in India, Oman, Bahrain, Hungary and the UK, I enjoy cooking Indian, Italian, Mediterranean and other cuisines.
Cooking has always been my passion...and good quality food is my weakness! I learnt cooking from my mum at home, and from my father from his road side Hotel (Dhaba), and ever since, I haven't been able to stop!
I believe that the most important thing in food business is the FOOD itself; everything else comes after that. One day I hope to open my own place and run it the way I always wanted it.
I follow two kind of recipes; first, the very authentic dishes, which have been passed through generations from grandmothers to mothers, from chefs to chefs - I always insist on keeping those as authentic as possible, with no compromises whatsoever! And the second kind is those recipes that I have developed or invented myself; I've been collecting these recipes to use in my dream restaurant one day, or maybe even in my own recipe book!
